International Mathematical Olympiad or IMO is the world wide Olympiad or Competition for High School Students. In different countries Maths Olympiad is held once in a year. International Mathematical Olympiad was first started in the year of 1959 in Romania. Initially only seven country participated in International Maths Olympiad. But soon IMO expended to 100 countries. IMO make sure that the IMO should take place once in a year and the host country must observes the rules, regulations as well as traditions of International Mathematical Olympiad. It is one of the most prestigious Championship in the filed of Mathematics specially for High School students. 57th International Mathematical Olympiad
The 57th International Mathematical Olympiad will be hosted by Hong Kong from Jul 6 2016 to July 16 2016. The organizer committee for Maths Olympiad 2016 is International Mathematical Olympiad Hong Kong Committee Limited in collaboration with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Indian National Mathematical Olympiad
The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) is also High School Maths Championship held every year in Inida. The first INMO was hend in 1989 since than INMO is being organized every year on All India Basis. Basically it is the Second Tier Competition for International Mathematical Olympiad and organized by Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) under the supervision of National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM) India. Indian National Mathematical Olympiad is conducted in February every year. INMO is organized by MO Cell. But before INMO eligible candidates has to contact to the Regional Mathematical Olympiad India for their respective region which is usually organized on the first Sunday of December Every Year. Approximately 30 students are selected from each of region who are invited to attend INMO. From around 500 students around 30 students are selected to IMO.
Note : Class 12 students in India are not permitted to take part in Mathematical Olympiad.
Structure or Syllabus for Indian National Mathematical Olympiad
There will be only 6 questions or problem. Student can solve them in the given time of 4 Hours. Questions from Calculus will not be asked in Indian National Mathematical Olympiad. The subjects from which questions will be asked in Maths Olympiad are Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Combinatorics.
